Ben's 2022 DT 1500 Ram came in for a King Shocks Australia 2" lift along with Ironman Forged Upper Control Arms, HHD Rear Coils (For upcoming tray / canopy).

- 20" KMC Mesa Wheels in a Bronze with Black Lip finish
- Toyo 35x12.5x20 RT Tyres
- Updated TPMS and Tyre Size information to vehicles computer

King Shocks Australia 2" lift offers customers a great ride with the added benefit of multi stage adjustable capabilities. Ironman Forged Upper Control Arms ensure your RAM can have the best alignment possible and will help extend the life of your tyres and keep everything aligned.

Big Dog Builds can upgrade this suspension package to include Airbag Man Coil Helpers and also doa fully customisable Air On Board setup with compressors, in cab adjustability and pressure control monitoring. Simply switch on your compressor from the drivers seat and inflate the Air Bags to different pressures before your trip and keep an eye on the pressure gauge throughout your journey.

Jace has ordered a load lid to place on the bed / tub and will be set for any weekend trips or holidays to come after his visit to Big Dog Builds.

We opted for one of the best suspension setups available for the RAM 1500 and paired this with a great set of wheels and tyres then added a simple and smart 12v power setup able to be removed at a campsite within a minute or so. The Switchpro controller can simply change between auxiliary battery and vehicle main battery if he wants to keep the fridge running while the auxiliary battery is left at camp.

Worklights all round, a massive 51" LED Lightbar to the front of the rack and a nice Australian made 180 degree awning means Jace will be out of the weather and have a safe and comfortable set up wherever he decides to adventure to.

RAM 1500 Rebel – Weekend Warrior Build

Jamie wanted to improve the performance all round with his new 1500 and brought it to Big Dog Builds to achieve exactly that.

Installing a Fox 2.5" DSC Shock lift kit with Ironman Billet Upper Control Arms in the front allows for a much better ride with 2-3" of lift height increase.

We also installed some KMC 20" wheels wrapped in Toyo RT 35x12.5x20 tyres which will also improve the drivability and offroad performance when needed.

The Offroad Creative front bar allows for a much improved approach angle along with a stronger bumper that also allows for a 12000lb Carbon Winch and Stedi LED Lighting. A Switch Pro SP9100 switching unit was installed to control these lights and be ready for future 12v loads in stage 2.

We also installed a Rhino Backbone and Pioneer Platform to the roof for storage and some 12v upgrades ready to tow to the caravan and run a a fridge in the rear full-time.

A Redarc BCDC 1250 charger was installed in the RAMBOX along with a power to the tub and a Red Anderson Plug for direct solar input.

Now boasting a much better ride and a clean and simple look Jamie can throw the family in and set of to any of the beautiful destinations Australia has to offer.
